Hello friends! Apologies for my absence on here (and everywhere) these past few weeks. 1. The devastation in LA has been so horrific, it’s difficult to think about anything else. 2. The looming tiktok ban has my anxiety thru the roof. 3. I like to think that “Christmas break” doesn’t end until after my birthday (which is today ICYMI), so I like to dedicate the first half of January to doing a full factory for myself.
As I’ve been reflecting, resting and restoring, I’ve grown increasingly excited about what’s in store for this year. It’s going to be a year full of firsts: coming out with my first book, furnishing my first home, building my first garden, raising my first dog, spending my first summer in the Hamptons as a HOMEOWNER!! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
This time off has also reinvigorated my love for content creation, as cheesy as it sounds. Tiktok or not, I am so ready to get back in the kitchen doing what I love to do. I’m so looking forward to developing more recipes for my website, making more Youtube videos, and posting on Substack more often!
If tiktok has taught us one thing, it’s to not over think, over curate, and overcomplicate. Pinpoint what excites you, share your story, and like minded people will find you. So cheers to 29, and to another year of sharing my love of food with my favorite people!!!!!
